October 26 & 27, 2016 - ENG Warranty Conference (Detroit, Michigan):
As described, the state of the automotive industry continues to evolve. In consequence, the revenue streams of warranty, aftersales and after-care are becoming a crucial link in the value chain. To boost profitability and generate quality improvements, a strategic focus is being placed on these aspects of the business. Held in a downtown Detroit venue, the ENG conference appropriately brought together automotive OEs, Suppliers, and their service providers. Ubiquiti presented on the application of big data techniques in the areas concerning automotive warranty.
September 29 & 30, 2016 - AIAG Quality Summit (Novi, Michigan):
At the Summit, Ubiquiti presented on "Analyzing Data for Systems Vs. Components", which described advanced data-techniques to address the issues of "No Trouble Found" in automotive service. The Summit, entitled "Surviving and Thriving Through Industry Transformation", was focused on helping organizations adapt their systems and prepare their personnel to not only survive, but thrive and excel, during the transformation of the automotive industry. As described by AIAG, "whether the transformation is due to disruptive product technologies ... or adapting to increased oversight and heightened regulatory requirements for field issue management ... there is no doubt that the automotive industry is facing a tidal wave of transformative forces".
